A Belgian country cottage has been re-modernised with taste and a careful selection of the materials to be used, such as the wood for the staircase. For the flooring the choice went to Elite, one of the most prestigious creations of Cotto d’Este. Elite is inspired by a granitic stone which is widely used in Northern Europe. Its shades go from black to dark grey-brown and it has a distinct, valued effect of depth which is obtained thanks to an internationally patented production process. The process used to obtain its full-body mixture and a special surface coating process give Elite a realistic effect of depth and a soft, patinated shimmer. The quantity of natural light which comes through the large windows and a slanted glass window which covers the area connecting the buildings of the residential complex sets out this unique characteristic of Elite.
