The flooring of the living room of this flat in Oostende has been tiled using Elegance Via Condotti 59.4x59.4 cm. The linear and clean-cut design of the surfaces and the furniture, all modulated using light-coloured shades from hazelnut to beige and cream, has been coordinated to create an area which is distinguished by the rules of minimalism. Black is used along the lower part of the fire place at the level of the combustion chamber and is also used in the black leather of the sofa and armchairs. Elegance adds movement to the flooring surface without exaggerating the coherence of the decorative design, thus adding a touch of naturalness to the room which could risk looking too aseptic. The cove of the fireplace wall has been tiled using Kerlite Cendre. Due to its reduced thickness and the ease with which Kerlite can be worked, it can be used to tile volumes and round off the sharpness of corners. Used in combination with a decorative band of Kerlite via Condotti, Kerlite Cendre has also been used to tile the bathroom. In each case, full slabs with an initial size of 300x100 cm were used.
